I sold my home and terminated my service with Frontier Communications on the house. I waited for another billing cycle where they clearly processed the partial month (i.e. they know the account is closed) and I have a sizeable credit balance (as I have always had) that I want refunded now. I called the number on my bill and was told that credit balances will be refunded automatically after 90 days and there IS NOTHING I CAN DO TO GET MY MONEY ANY SOONER THAN THAT!!!!

Since my account is closed, this amounts to an interest free loan to Frontier and and unfair business practice. There is no reason to sit on my money for 3 months!! I can see waiting a month to see what charges clear through, but every other utility has given me my refund back already. Only Frontier is holding out! And the clerk on the phone was emphatic and rude that there is nothing I can do about it.

I want my refund of my credit balance. I've paid this phone bill regularly and have run a credit balance since 2002 - suddenly I'm not trustworthy enough and have to wait for 90 days?? WHY???

They are straight out thieves. After charging us for Showtime, which was already in our package, for 15 months, they will not credit us.

This mysteriously started 15 months before and we did not notice due to automatic bill pay. Crooks!

They are still holding out refund which wax due in August and now it's November. Dirty *** pigs.

Here we are - at 60- days - just got another bill showing my credit and still they won't do the refund for yet another month!! It is an unfair practice to give them an interest free loan for 90 days!!!!

We are over 90days and still waiting. They are holding us hostage. Why is the Better Business Bureaus all over this???
