I have had Frontier phone and iinternet since they took over from Verizon. About six months ago we tried the upgraded internet on their suggestion. We were never told about a new contract or even signed such a thing. Now, we have down sized our monthly bills and cancelled Frontier. they have snet me a bill for $189.66 which included and early termination fee of $125.00. After several phone calls, they said they would remove the fee but have not, instead that have sent another bill saying that if the $189.66 is not paid, it will go to collections. This company is nothing more than a sham, I'll keep my cell phones and NEVER EVER do business with Frontier again. 127df67

I have recently observed practices by frontier where they are sending out notices with billing that the modem is out of warranty and must be replaced or "risk service outage" When people replace the modem (ie. alter their old Verizon contracts)they are now charged a 6.99/mo modem fee (forever). In addition, I have noticed that people who do not respond will have their modem configuration "mysteriously changed" so that it does not work, spawning a call to Frontier for service. They tell the consumer they need a new modem and then charge the 6.99/mo. I truly believe they are logging into peoples modems and intentionally taking them down to replace them. I have already reconfigured several and have gotten them back online in 5 minutes. This practice must be illegal. I know it is immoral and manipulative.
