This company refuses to listen to me when I tell them that they are billing me for an account I do not have, have never had, and do not owe! My name was placed on a closing bill from a former family member (now divorced) and I don't know if it was to be mean or what, but they refuse to listen to me and now threaten me with collections. I have called them, and have written them several letters, to which they do not even respond!!!

I am a senior citizen and this is making me ill.

They should not be able to do this sort of thing!! 127dfae

I left Verizon just before Frontier took over Verizon's internet accounts about two years ago in 2010. They kept trying to bill me for an account I did not have with them. 

 

I have spent frustrating hours trying to work things out each time being put on hold for hours and also being cut off. 

 

I finally just gave up but I refused to pay the bill for the account I did not have. Then reported me to the credit bureaus but I still refused to pay the bill. Then after about 6 months they tried to "settle" accounts by discounting the bill they said I owed for the account I never had with them! I refused that as well. 

 

Now in April 2012 I get a bill from Frontier again for an account I do not have and have never had with them. 

 

What is wrong with these people? 

 

I'm thinking of taking them to court or reporting them as a fraud.
