Frontier Communications - Internet Service Review from Longwood, Florida

A month before my internet contract expired, i was told by Frontier it would cost me $79.99/month if i renewed the contract. I decided to just go ahead and cancel the service when the contact expired and was told by the rep that if i renewed my contract at that time i could lock in a 2 year price of $59.99. I cancelled the service and decided to wait 30 plus days before trying to get the $44.95 special rate listed on the internet.......do not waste your time. I called twice and was forwarded to Direct TV for a bundle package which i had specifically told the 1st reps I did not want. I was dumb enough to try a third time but requesting to speak to CSR instead of new service, ended up on hold for 30 minutes; got fed up with the wait and just hung up. This is the worst company ever; don't waste your time with them. I agree with the other reviews they should be fined or put out of business.

8/6/16 Just received my bill today, and guess what, the amount was for $79.99 not the the $44.95 that was quoted when I signed up for the service. I asked the rep numerous times if the amount was definitely $44.95 and the answer was yes.

During the call I let the rep know that it would be a self install since I already had the equipment. The day before the service was supposed to start I received a call from a Frontier tech who was on their way to my house for install. I let the caller know that I already had the equipment and the house was wired for fios. Service call was cancelled and two weeks later the geniuses at Frontier shipped me a router.

I contacted the company again and told them to check their notes because I never requested a router nor would I be *** enough to pay a monthly rental fee when I can buy one for about $100. On top of the $79.99 fee, Frontier also added a $10.00 fee for a VOIP line that I supposedly needed in order to get the internet.

I'm going to keep my ATT mobile hot spot service which is a lot cheaper than Frontier. I am totally done with Frontier and would never recommend the company; they are crooked and should be sued.

7/19/16 I contacted the 800 number per Christina's response and spoke with Jennifer who set me up with Internet only service. By Friday, I had Internet service with no issues.

To anyone having issues with frontier, I would recommend contacting the in house 800 number. The wait time was only 5 minutes and Jennifer made sure everything was correct before we ended the call.

They also had the nerve to charge us an early termination fee.

They are the ones who violated the contract by not providing the service. They are staffed by a bunch of lying idiots who don't know what they are doing.

After Frontier took over my fios service fro verizon here in so cal i had nothing but problems i called customer no service and was promptly told to reset my modem..because my cctv cameras no longer worked .my internet was half as fast my phone lines went down..and to add insult to injury my tech support guy didn't speak English very well so throw in the language barrier now i finally had to hire a private tech support company to talk me through how to set up my fios modem again i hate tjis new company simless my ***...i went back to cable Internet...at least they are consistent about being not consistent

Frontier Communications in Tampa, Florida - Worst product and service ever!

We have been experiencing a constant problem and NO satisfaction from Frontier! We turn on the TV and there is no picture, but we can view the guide or menu. I have spent hours on the phone and them having me unplug this restart that and still no change. When asked about a rebate for the time we can use the service I was told no as the problem will be resolved. A whole lot of B.S. No wonder their customer service rating are so poor. Still on hold today now over 2 hours and nothing. Been told there is no problem on their end, why does it take to get this fixed

Terrible customer service extra unexplained charges promise to call you back with solutions to your problems a terrible mistake now i have to explain to my kids why the cable is off until we switch to BRIGHTHOUSE. Frontier Communications in Forest Grove, Oregon - Service repair failed to show up

I called to report a great deal of static on our land line (our only service). I was given a ticket number and was told a truck would be out today. I stayed home all day waiting for a repair person. No one showed. I tried to call and find out the status of my ticket order and found it nearly impossible to talk to a human being. It took over an hour. When I did reach someone, they told me it was too late to checkon the order and to call back tomorrow (a Saturday). I will do so, but am certian no one will (a)answer the phone, (b)will come out on a Saturday and (c)will give a d*** at all about any problem I report. If my wife did not demand a land line, I would get rid of these inconsiderate bunch a yahoos in a heaert beat. I will drop my internet service with them, as it is constantly going out - at leaslt 5 times today alone.
