Had HORRIBLE service for the 3 years that I had the account. The two year contract for phone and internet service began on August 9th of 2009. In 2011, I looked to see when my cancellation date was, I saw that my phone account ended in February and my internet account ended in August. I have been attempting to get DSL from frontier for more than a year and then they finally said it was available and would be installed on Nov. 5,2012---I waited and waited--nobody showed up,later Melinda called and said there was a problem and she would get back to me,turns out I am 25,000 ft from the feeder line and I was denied DSL !!?? We have been with Frontier for over 4 years, in 2 different location. At both locations we have had problems with WiFi, coming up with it saying "limited Service". We have had the serviceman out to our old house 15 to 20 times in the 3 years we lived there. Now after we mover to house only a few year old in a new subdivision with all underground wiring. I am in Hayesville N.C. I had no choice but to have Frontier Phone service as Verizon evidently sold to them. I was lead to believe it would be so great I discontinued my email service with Dnet dial up for the package that Frontier offered. It was slow, unsatisfactory from day one. calls and calls did not help. when I downloaded the Frontier security system, it literally shut down my computer. I'll try to make this long story as short as possible. They never charge you what you think you are getting in the promotion pricing. They will end up charging you WAY more and then tell you they cannot find the pricing changes in your account notes and that all you did was "Add services" and not bundle with special pricing. I wanted to make calls to the Philippines. Frontier sold me the "simply international Asia" calling package. I was supposed to pay $4.99 per month for 125 minutes of calling. After the plan minutes were used I was to pay 11 cents per minute. When I was billed, they charged me regular price for the calls, and also the $4.99. I moved and notified Frontier in plenty of time to have my phone and internet disconnected and my final bill. After paying them the final bill, which was for a full month but I only owed for a part month, I got a statement showing they owed me a refund of $116.00. this was in May, it is now the start of Jul and still no refend.
