Verizon to Frontier FAIL

We heard nothing from Verizon or Frontier about this switch-over. April 12 our fios internet service went down and discovered we had a new company. Our service has not returned as of now April 14 and my wife works from home and our cell (only phone) service is dependent on a microcell tower. Their techs only solution is to power down and reset which does not work. Customer service reps are outsourced some of which have English language difficulties. Ridiculous DEBACLE! We want an immediate refund of any missed days and an expedited fix to get our internet working again. At this point not sure if that will happen.

File a complain with the FCC. They are the only way to file a complaint against fronter. No city and or state agency has an impact as the FCC.

Fronter will have 30 days from date of complain to resolve issue.

I can't wait to drop Frontier

Frontier bought Verizon for $10 billion. Four days in, I rue the day. I spent 61 minutes on the phone with their overmatched phone people over an Internet issue, and it still hasn't been taken care of. One person told me to call 20 minutes later, and maybe it would be better. Another told me, after dancing around for 37 minutes, that the "integration" issues are slow coming. He asked me to call back on a periodic basis, and maybe these issues will be solved. I thought the Supreme Court took care of integration long ago. I knew I was in trouble when I recently got a greetings letter from Frontier's $6-million man, CEO Dan McCarthy (he's one of the cheaper ones)--no mailing address on the letter, no phone number. Pasted to the letter was a refrigerator magnet card--which also doesn't include a phone number. What was the point, if they won't tell you where they are? My Verizon/Frontier contract runs out in August, and I can't wait. Maybe a lawyer can get me out sooner.

Terrible switch from brighthouse

please call me as I have switched over last month from bright house afte well over 20 years to Verzion , I have contacted your corp office no reply - this has been the worst experience of my life ,your supervisors wont return emails /calls... I don't have the service... I ordered cant even access my voice mail ..and went through holly *** to just to get to this point !!!!! Worse ever

This is by far the worse service I have ever received, or heard of. My television service has not worked correctly since Frontier took over and I have opened multiple tickets to have it corrected, and receive an email stating I will be contacted within 24 hours. Then ten days later I receive an email telling me they are working on correcting my issue. The only thing that frontier does in a timely manner is bill. I received that on time. I have been on hold for approximately 4 hours over the last 2 weeks, and when I finally got to someone they disconnected me

This Friday will be the middle of April when all is supposed to be working.....I'm calling and cancelling if not and will go to Comcast....at least there I will be able to speak with someone who not only speaks English but understands it! No one should have a bill this month and or an early termination fee if cancelled....we were never even notified that there was a change to frontier as most were not. They can pay me rental fees for all my purchased movies that I have not had access to since April 1. Nit to mention other services I have paid for.

This is the worst phone company ever, and I thought others were bad, but Frontier shows what bad really looks like. They have you on hold for hours, and even though you entered all the prompts correctly they still get you to the wrong department. Transfer, cant hear you and then disconnect you. All along trying to get their screw ups fixed. I have spent 3 weeks trying to get my problem with the wrong services, calling plans, and billing fixed. Now they have set up double billing accounts for the same service. The name should be change to the company from ***, and no one can help. The FCC just wants fees to approve deals to keep their jobs but the heck with the public as long as they get paid.

Atrocious Service from Frontier Communications

This is the WORST experience I have ever had with any cable/internet Company in my life. I've had DISH Network, Time Warner Cable, Verizon and at least another. I was a former Verizon Customer in Texas that had my line sold to this Company in April 2016. Service is terrible and spotty and the customer "service" is even worse. I have talked to at least a dozen representatives who can do nothing to solve simple problems like creating an account or scheduling a technician. Words cannot even adequately express how awful this has been and don't complain much about bad service I receive. If this in anyway helps someone considering using them- Don't! You will be sorry. I will have to continue with this joke of a Company until I can cancel my account and service and have another service provider come out. Utterly unbelievable- I hope this somehow gets to their executive leadership team to let them know the gravity of how poorly their operation is really run. Good luck to those who read!

AFTER OVER 5 DAYS FROM REQUESTING A TRANSFER- AND 3 DAYS AFTER THE SCHEDULE SERVICE DATE I STILL DONT HAVE SERVICE! AFTER SPEAKING WITH A FEW REPS AND REQUESTING A SUPERVISOR I HAD TO HAVE A REP REPEAT TO ME THE INFO THEY MISTYPED ALL TO FIND OUT THAT THE 1ST PERSON DIDNT ENTER ANYTHING IN CORRECTLY. OKAY, COOL BUT WHY DO I GET THE SHORT END OF THE STICK AS A CUSTOMER! THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT OPENING NEW ACCTS, BUT ONCE THEY GET YOU EVERYTHING IS POOR FROM THEN ON! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR COMMUNICATION, POOR INTERNET SERVICE (ALWAYS DOWN) ETC.

Verizon sold my Texas contract to Frontier, now they asked to create an id but after hours of trying and watching the system processing, I'm done. I figured there would be a few glitches on 4/1, but it's been a day and poor customer service reps are just reading a script. No help! Another year left on my contract...wonder what my options are. Internet is slow, no VOD, no HBO GO and a big waste of my time. I told them I needed more than an apology. I think there is a class action suit against then in one of the states, maybe Texas needs to join.

Caller ID

After Frontier took over from Verizon, the caller id function ended. It says it is available, but we can't get it to work. My wife is disappointed with the service, and is talking about switching to Bright House. Our contact id is: short_c@***.com, or 941-748-****. Thank you. Please contact us with any possible solution to this problem in as quick a timeframe as possible. We seem to have less service but higher cost. We were pleased with Verizon, but not so much so with your service. We would also be happy to have the Spanish stations be able to be deleted. Let us choose if we want them in our service.

To whom it may concern, First off there are communication barriers with the customer service reps on the phone. Secondly I am paying a high price for services that cannot be used. Thirdly I have been bounced around by customer service reps and somehow my account cannot be located. I was told that I would be getting "free air time" back for the days that I have lost. What does that even mean? Even the gentleman who said this to me couldn't explain what he just said! I am questioning your mission and values as a company and contemplating using another tv, phone and Internet company that truly cares about their customers. Very frustrated and very pissed off! Thanks for the April fools joke. Sadly, when I actually am able to see my account I will no longer be using the services of Frontier!
