Frontier owe me money

Back in 2014 i ordered cable and high speed internet services through frontier but i cancelled the very next day. I wanted to keep the provider that i already, they were supposed to cancel the entire order and close the account but they did'nt close out the account and they owe me $116.60 and after two yrs their telling me i won't get my fund until after 90 days and i told them i wasn't going to wait 90 days when i've waited 3 yrs already! A very shady company

Once you do get your refund it will most likely be in the form of a Citibank debit card. I have been arguing with them for 2 weeks about receiving a check instead of a debit card.

I told them I wanted a check. You can't get cash out of the debit card.

RUN don't walk from this company

After being loyal customers for years, cancelled service, only to have it re-installed after new company wasn't up to par. RETURNED new equipment in same week it was installed because viewing on the go programs wasn't working...spent DAYS speaking with different customer service reps only to their engineers are working on fixing that issue. I am being charged for the whole month...the "app" that doesn't work is "free" so I even though I cancelled in the first week, I received "service"....customer service rep was a {{Redacted}} . Doesn't matter if you are not satisfied with service. You get bounced from person to person and told lies. WILL TELL EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Time change

Back in the spring of 2017 we went from standard time to Day light savings time. All the computers and mobile phones updated the time automatically with the exception of Frontier Communications in Tampa Fl.

I don't know if any other area was affected, as I live in the Tampa Bay Area. We contacted Frontier . I was informed by customer service that it must be my phone. Following numerous attempts to change my time with negative results, as the time went back to the regular time when a phone call came in.

I was informed by Frontier that they discovered that it was their software and that they will correct it and that it won't happen again. I chalked it up to growing pains as Frontier was trying to get it together as they took over from Verizon.. But this fall it is happening again. The phone keeps going back to Daylight Savings Time.

When is Frontier going to get their act together.

Frontier, please bite the bullet, and purchase the correct software. Maybe you can check with Verizon, they may have the software.

There is a setting on all phones that tell it to ignore the network time and set it like the VCR you might be more familiar with.

Disabled with no phone service for 24 hours

I am a disabled man confined to a wheelchair. I do not have a cell phone, only a home line that worked just fine for years with Verizon. My phone has been out for almost 24 hours and I had to get in a wheelchair and go almost half a mile to use the neighbors phone and they told me it would be days before they could even look at it. I asked them if I had an emergency situation what should I do? They told unless I had cardiac issues I would just have to wait. I am an amputee with spine injuries but I live a heart healthy life, so I guess i am just screwed for the next few days. Crappiest phone company and customer service ever! Looking to find another land-line provider.

Frontier customer service sucks

Just had my service installed about 2 months ago. What made me decide is the internet service and indeed faster than my previous provider. However, we noticed that all our subscribed channels including international package were not available except local channels. The screen says you have not subscribed to this service and so we did remote. Still not available and called customer service and we're told it should be available by the end of the day. This happened for several days and later on told that the server handling Florida and California were down due to hurricane that just devastated Houston, Texas. Credit will be given. Then a technician was sent and he told us that the problem was the box. When we received our bill, lo and behold, instead of getting credit for the service not provided, we were billed 9 times. We requested for credit and declined without telling us. We requested for reconsideration and told to wait for several days and could be up to two weeks. In the meantime, we are required to pay for the bloated bill. What a *** customer service. Won't recommend Frontier to anyone.

Frontier SCAM and to boot my Caller Id is WRONG!!!

Frontier is running a complete scam. I started out paying $79.99 and now 6 months later I am paying $169.00 What is this lock in for two year guarantee? Every time I call, I get a complete run around and I always have them look up what I started paying to begin with and then it slowly goes up in price. I get so frustrated I just hang up. Know my friends and etc. says my caller ID says Florida State Attorneys Office. I called into change this and still waiting. Maybe I should call FL State Att. and let them know, and have them conatact FRONTIER! WARNING TO ALL>>> if it sounds to GOOD to be TRUE it probably is!!! Michelle Davis

Customer Service very bad

Spoke to a Customer Service representative about my bill. Because she could not answer the questions, she slammed the phone down in my ear. Customer Service should be very important to any business, but it appears not to be the case with Frontier. I wish I had another option, but I am stuck with Frontier. Verizon was not that great, but they were much better than this company. I have had may bad experiences with this company since it replaced Verizon. Do not like trying to talk to foreigners who do not have the slightest idea what you are talking about. Lately I have been thinking about giving up my lan line and internet through Frontier and just use cell phone and find another internet provider for the computer.

Had service discussed July 25, 2017, still receiving monthly bill. Every month get on phone with customer service, each one assures me they can fix problem, have invested over 1 1/2 hour of time and not sure the problem has been fixed.

Will know on Nov. 25th when next billing cycle occurs.

Internet Nightmare

I am in Florida. I have been having a problem with Frontier internet since first signing up with them in June. I signed up for a 50/50mbps plan for 2 years at $39.95, including all fees, taxes, equipment rental, etc. They could not deliver that speed. They have been trying to charge me varying prices ranging from $64.99 a month before any taxes or surcharges, up to the neighborhood of $120.00. This is for 30/5mbps, which is closer to 24/4mbps in real life. I have called them every month since June. Every time I've called they've said the problem has been resolved, but it never is. I have spend hours on the phone with them. My last phone communication with them lasted 3 hours. I have refused to pay until this is resolved.

Cancelled my service before next billing cycle. Get a bill in the mail i called costumer service and they told me that it was an equipment fee and to send the equipment in so i did. Costomer service then told me we had a zero doller balance. Went on with life come to find out frontier has sent me to collection's???? For $139.00??? I recieved nothing in the mail no bill no phone calls just in collection's. I have had many run ins with frontier and have never come up with a solution its absolutely painful hours and hours on the phone to get no where. Reconnection fee that never happend it just goes on and on and on. The most dishonest and the worst costumer service i have ever delt with. TERRIBLE!!!!! STAY AWAY PEOPLE.

The collections is their own internal dept.. It never showed on my credit report.

They keep in on file forever and deny future service. Who cares.

In Hampshire County, WV, Frontier is absolutely the worst!

Our place is located in Hampshire County, WV - Today is July 17, and we have not had internet since June 25. At first we were told it was an area outage and no one could be there until July 10 - so we filed complaints with the FCC and the WV PSC.

The lady from the WV PSC did actually return a phone call to us, which is more than I can say from Frontier. Each time we called and asked to speak to a supervisor, (since the person on the phone had NO idea of what they were talking about), we were told a supervisor would call us back "within 30 minutes"...THAT never happened, not once! Because of our contact with the lady at Frontier Consumer Relations in Charleston, WV, a tech came to our house on 7/8, which was the very next day after we talked to her - he brought a new router, sat there with his laptop and although it looked like he had internet access, he did not. It was connecting to the local area station, but not getting on to the internet.

He said it looked like another 'area outage' .... duh. So now more than 3 weeks later, STILL no internet, and because our business depends on the internet, we've had to go out of our way to get to a WIFI to do what we needed to do - and we've lost quite a bit of money because of it, too. HOW does Frontier stay in business??

What a bunch or *** who get on the phone and try to smooth you over, and it's always a two-week wait until a tech can come to your place. Oh, and the "online chat" with them? Absolutely horrible in trying to read through what should be the "English" language! And this is NOT only our problem, as we keep in close touch with our community neighbors and all of them are having the same problem...would you not think that someone with any kind of a brain could pinpoint the problem?

Someone really needs to get another class action lawsuit against Frontier, as this situation is really bad. We will be among the first to join in the lawsuit.

I agree "Frontier is the worse". I also live in Hampshire county, down in a valley, were people know each other.

It has been a regular occurrence that several peoples phones are out at the same time for the last several months. Just today I know of 2 people with phones out, both are older, one is 93, they need there phone.

When a neighbor called service for them, they were first told no one could be out till August 3rd. This is totally unacceptable, even if you are not older!

Worse ever Frontier go with Spectrum

Closed out account moved end of June waited and called each month for them to send the boxes to turn back in the modular I had 2. First person spoke to said I had credit coming back and would be sent by card. Never got boxes or credit sent back. Now again I called in Oct spoke to a Matt in the tampa center. He sent the boxes to me to send back the equipment. And again no credit. He said it would be sent out. I call again today said was a supervisor his name was Shaun they told me the credit was put in the July bill which was no service in July. So I told him to send me the bill he says I owe. for July which I was already moved. They charge way to much money for phone and internet. 123.64. Get the Spectrum great service no problems....Lots of speed on the internet.

Worst Phone Company ever. The disconnected our phone lines and then can't get them active again. Said the did a system scrub and they took out lines down, but incompetence reigns at the company and they can't get it fixed. Please sale it back to Verizon. It worked great until Frontier bought it. Now we can't get any customer support that know what they are doing. They argue with you on the phone. They don't have an quality control and was told by one of their reps that they have multiple class action law suits against them. DO not use Frontier. DO not use Frontier.{{Redacted}}

You wanna talk about the erosion of customer service? Look no further! Frontier is on display here. I called tech support because my internet connection kept disconnecting. This was unacceptable because I worked from home. Well, I contacted Frontier's tech support and was told the protocols were not aligning themselves the way they should be. A work order ticket number was initiated and the tech guy said that it wouldn't be fixed until 4 days later. He said it could not be escalated because of the state I lived in. Well, after a 4th day of unreliable service, I called and asked if they could escalate the work order so that i could work. If not, I had to log in quite a bit of highway miles to be able to work (1000 miles a week). Guess what, these sympathetic Frontier tech guys said that we lived in a high demand area and that the work order ticket would be cancelled. Well, after dismounting from my patient horse, I shared with the tech guy how disconnected from reality his response with supporting rationale were. It was almost as if I was being punked and someone was filming me. It a nutshell he stated that being that it was a high demand area, an analysis would have to be done, funding requesting, permits secured, equipment bought and then subsequently installed. I asked him how long this would take. The misguided and zombie-like tech guy said months and that essentially, there was nothing that could be done. I was amazed but again, not really, because we live in a world where these giant companies find it more convenient to blow off the customers as long as the bean counters tell them that financially, everything is alright. This episode and event with Frontier explains why one day there is a business store front and the next day, there isnt. I would not recommend this company to my enemies or the ones that persecute them. Buy two Styrofoam cups with a string. This would work much better than Frontier
