New ReviewerFrontier Communications just pulled the bait and switch on our new residential service order.
Spent one hour on Saturday on the phone will Frontier Sales rep "Stephanie" ordering new service. Double and tripled checked everything we discussed and wrote it down. Frontier was then supposed to call within 24 hours and schedule installation date. No call received. So I call today to schedule service installation.
Shortly after the phone call I receive an email asking me accept the terms and conditions. The email included a price breakdown. The price breakdown did not match what was verbally given to me when the order was placed. I just called and spoke with rude customer service rep "Jonna" who indicated the original pricing I was given was wrong. WHAT? Well I know you record every conversation. Listen back and then honor the pricing you gave me!
Nope..she will not honor the pricing I was given. So now we have no choice but to either accept the NEW pricing, or cancel and start over. This is a complete bait and switch and I will be reporting this to the Connecticut Attorney Generals office, filing a complaint with the FCC as well as placing as many negative reviews highlighting these tactics.
This is why most people I know in CT do not use Frontier. This is why cable TV is essentially disappearing from homes as streaming media is more affordable and a la carte services are the way to go. These scams like Frontier are what drives consumer confidence down, and forces us to not trust the entire system.
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Frontier Communications Cons: Being robbed, Support.
