Words of caution about Frontier Communications internet service:

1. They don't tell you when you sign up that there is a $9.99 disconnection fee.

2. They will not pro-rate your billl. So if you disconnect in the middle of a service period, you will pay for the WHOLE period even for the days that you don't use their service.

3. After you introductory offer expires, they'll substantially increase the rate. In my case, my payments were due on the 28th of the month. That payment is for the service period from 10th of that month through the 9th of the following month. You'll get a bill sometime after the 10th and before the 28th. By the time you get around to looking at your bill and seeing the increased rate, you are on the hook for that whole service period at that increased rate plus your $9.99 disconnect fee that they never told you about when you signed up.

I didn't like: Billing customer service.

1. Death Tax - unfair...

2.

no pro-rated bill, standard practice, reasonable ... 3.you were most likely provided with the information about the increase after the "introductory" at the time you began service - did you think that was a permanent rate ?
