THE WORST COMPANY | Frontier Communications review from Long Beach, California

Called just before our last contract with verizon was up after receiving a notice in the mail of Frontier's takeover. Asked to schedule a change to our plan, get rid of landline and cable, but upgrade to highest fios speed. Quoted a $149 a month going forward. First they cut all our phone and internet the day before the scheduled install of changes, then they no showed the day of the appointment, then they kept me on hold or hung up on me over the course of a few hours the evening after they no showed. Finally came to install a few days later. Then, we received a $538 bill in the mail! Husband called and was hung up 'disconnected', line just drops, repeatedly, but eventually reached a nice woman who said the bill was now adjusted. The new bill came, still not adjusted! so he called again, same story, "oh yes, it is adjusted now" he was told. fast forward to yesterday when we received a notice saying our service will be disconnected on Aug 4th if we dont pay up. This company is scandalous!!!!!

I have been battling with Frontier since day one. I have been hung up on, lied to, screamed at AND get this ... told to *** because I had no idea what I was talking about. I wouldn't wish this service on even my worst enemy. Most of your reps don't even speak English that well so it's impossible to speak with them at all. Since when does 50/50 internet service cost $79.99? My phone and cable TV have not worked for months. I will not pay for a service that doesn't even work! I spoke with a rep who told me that he could see some errors in my billing and that it would be taken care of. He said a new bill would be sent to me. I just received that bill ... Wait. What? Now it's a $1066.00 total? So now they are telling me they are going to disconnect my service for non payment and that I am being sent to collections. The rep told me that is so charges don't keep piling up...excuse me? MY SERVICE HAS BEEN OUT FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS. NOT PAYING FOR {{Redacted}} NON-WORKING SERVICE. You had better get your *** together Frontier...or maybe you should see to it that your techs out in the field carry weapons. NO ONE LIKES YOU!!

I originally ordered service April 2016. I was cancelled 2 times by the company for unknown reason. The 3 rd. appointment the technician called when he was on the way, had my wrong apt. #. Turns out they had my neighbor and I information all jumbled up. Technician hooked everything up in the apt. then said another order needed to be placed for them to turn on the services. 3 weeks later still without service. This has been the worst company I have ever dealt with, I would never recommend them to anyone. Only wish I had another option for my internet services. All customer service representative state they will return there call to find out answers, no return calls. So frustrated!
