Frontier Communications - Really?

Customer service rep tells me pay your 279 in past due fee And then we will drop one of your two accounts for internet Both charging Fees on different plans BTW. They upgraded me to new plan and a month later I call in asking why 279. When the plan is 30 a month Customer service says Sorry sir you were not eligible for Upgraded plan even though we signed you up and never closed the old account

Frontier Communications - I don’t owe what they say I owe, now my credit is suffering

I moved to a different city that didn’t have Frontier. I returned my equipment and canceled services. I was billed my final bill plus equipment fees. I wasn’t paying what I didn’t owe. Instead of sending me a corrected bill, they turned my account over to collections. I have no problem paying what I owe, but they refuse to remove the account from collections.
