They charged for fixing their companies telephone line problem.You cannot speak to someone in person, only over the phone or the internet. They do not return your call. Awful customer service even when you speak to management. Cannot resolve issue with company. They accuse you of causing the problem. They have a monopoly of your city and use this not to assist when they have casued the problem. My telephone was calling 411 and 911 on it's own....

My mom passed away April 2016.I cancelled the phone service in May which had taken an automatic payment. I was advised I would receive a refund in August because it had to go through 2 billing cycles. I called in Sept, Oct, Nov and twice in Dec and still no check. I run a retail business and was considering another provider.Frontier was notified by the new carrier of the potential switch and shut off my phone service so now my customers get a recording that our phones have been disconnected.
