Just got hung up on by supervisor without even talking, said the person you are trying to reach is unavailable after being on hold for a half hour. How do people like that even have a job if they can not even reply to a phone call. WHAT HAPPENED TO QUALITY OF SERVICE...

Horrible They should be shut down | Frontier Communications review from Rochester, New York

Had my service interrupted for a supposed billing issue. They restored incoming and outgoing service but failed to restore all phone features. I am now in 4th day of hrs of phone calls with customer service, repair, tech support. no one communicates with other depts. If you have a repair issue you can forget it . Tell them you expect a credit to your bill for services not provided, they will ignore you. A Better Business Bureau Complaint is not sufficient for this co. A complaint to Consumer Div. of State Attorney General's Office would be the bare minimum they deserve. They should be shut down

We have had internet issues for over two months now. I have been calling and reporting this and all they can do is send a tech out which takes a week before they can get to us and then the techs can't fix the issues so I call again wait another week and the cycle...

My 85 year old mother loses her phone service whenever there is inclement weather. They were supposed to put a note on her account that is this should happen they will expedite service. Their normal response is 5-10 days!!!! Believe me they take their time!!! Of course when I call they say they no nothing about the note and their is no prior service issues on the account. How suspicious....only problems is there are SO many similar complaints all over the internet that Frontier cannot erase. This time we were instructed to unplug everything, including any medical alerts or devices that may be connected to the phone jack!!! Thankfully, Mom does not have any of these to worry about. The rep says "we don't know what the problem IS, and we can't expedite service due to high volume of issues. We did not experience a hurricane...this is rain! Plus, Frontier NEVER credits my mother's account for multiple service outages. The rep says you have to call and request that. Really???? I just filed a complaint with the Federal Communication Commission and am searching for others who will look into Frontier's business practices. Not everyone wants or can afford a cell phone. Frontier NEEDS to deliver reliable service to its customers and when they don't they should automatically reimburse the customer for the inconvenience. Absolutely the worst customer service and support I have ever witnessed!

My high speed internet service is hit or miss all day due to the modem not always working. I have called tech support repeatedly and replaced the modem and still no change. I'm not sure if its the modem or the line coming into the house. This has been going on now for months and I am unhappy. I am wondering if this is happening to other Frontier customers in my area or if a fix is being worked on at this time. I would like to know what is being done about this issue. I am very unhappy that my bill is the same no matter what the service is like.

I, also, feel 1 star is too much. 04/21/16 at 1 pm....my tv going in and out with Hulu. Finally went completely out saying no internet connection. This is only my 10th time with this problem since 6 wks of being with Frontier. I called 800-921-8101. Got a foreign person. Had me do a zillion things on the PC w/ Frontier, the only site that would come up since I no longer had internet. And I could hardly understand him. Nothing worked and I'm now on the phone for 1 1/2 hr. Finally he says it's a tech problem and someone will come to my house on the 28th. Really?????? I said NO WAY. I want someone here tomorrow. I got loud with him so he puts me on hold and then says someone will be here the next day at 8 am. I work evenings so it was hard to get up at that time but I did. No show. Call the 800 # and they say he will come. Another foreign person I can't understand. 11:30 call again. Another foreign person....gives me a line of bull that they will come. 1:30 call the 800 # again. And again at 5:30. This time I talked to an American woman named Sandy who was as kind as could be....and I could here her typing to a dispatcher to come to my house. I explained to her I was without a phone as I had Basic Talk that was hooked to the computer. I had to borrow someones cell to make calls. Sandy tells me she asked a particular "on the road" tech to go right over to my house. Whew!!! Was I so wrong. 8:30 I call the 800 # again and literally go wild on the phone with the foreign tech. I actually went completely out of control.....trying to understand what these people were saying to me due to the strong accent.....and getting no where faster than the speed of lightening. The excuses were so many....and so ridiculous!!!! (There's an outage in Rochester. My street doesn't do well with Frontier internet. Bad modem. They are doing updates right now and it makes things go slow or off. I'm in an area where there's an overload of people using the internet right now....so you will have some problems getting on. The last one????? My acct has been suspended due to non payment.. Mind you.....I had only 1 bill so far as I only had Frontier for 6 weeks.) The best guy EVER....Mike D shows up on a Sat. to fix things. Turned out there was something wrong on the lines outside. The 800 # is now telling him I didn't pay my bill. I showed Mike my online Bank acct with $90. having been removed from my acct. to Frontier. After his being frustrated with the foreign people....he finallly gets someone who is American who helps me to get back online after giving her my bank info. I'm just patiently waiting for Greenlight, or some other fiber optics internet to come to my area and in the moment they do....I"M OUT OF FRONTIER!!!!!!!! Their lack of respect for the people who keep them in their fancy houses, their greediness to make more money by sending all calls to the Phillipines where we can't understand the people.......their callus cold attitude towards all of us is reprehensible. They are wicked and evil. I would be happy to be a part of a class action suit!!!! I can't remember my order or ticket number...but even with it.....i used it with the foreigners and they said no such ticket #. So it's a waste anyhow. I will resend it though when I get home.

I had frontier for a few years and it would have its good times and bad times which I could deal with but I moved and had it installed in my new home, then it was just bad all around, I used to be an gamer but its just so slow that all I can do is watch low quality videos and that's about it. I can use the wifi but its just as bad plus on top of all that they've sent people out to check it and one of the guys told me my download speed was so slow, he was surprised that it worked but they told me that that they would fix it but all that happened was absolutely nothing. I don't recommend that anyone spend their money on such a mediocre service.
