Frontier Communications - No more pro-rating?!?
So I'm moving out of my rental on the 14th of the month which is a Sat and ask to have my service disconnected on Monday the 16 since i was told they can not do it on a weekend. Seriously? OK, whatever, i'll deal with the couple extra days, so i thought.
After thinking about it, a few days, I called back and asked to have it disconnected on the 13th. The rep said it really didn't matter which day they did, because the no longer pro-rate their charge. So I have to pay for 2 weeks of service that i will not be getting. Not very happy!!!! Is that even legal?
I have not been in a contract for the past 7 months so i didn't think i would be that big of a deal to cancel. Guess i was wrong.
On a side not, since i was no longer in a contract, i was charged and "internet infrastructure surcharge" of $1.99 each month. They get you coming and going!!
