Frontier Communications - Oversold our area, 0.03mps is normal internet speed?
Had to drive 10 miles to call 911. Thanks, Frontier.
I know things happen, but your equipment is wore out in our area. Spend some money updating it before someone dies due to not being able to call an ambulance.
Update: The original post is about 4 days old but guess what happened yesterday? Had to call 911 to request an ambulance.....all the phone lines on our road were out.
Could not call 911. Talked to the frontier crew doing repairs the next day, was told they have no idea why they went down, cant find a problem but on the upside, the phones work again. The infrastructure is wore out from being repaired so often but frontier wants to make do with what is in place.
Thankfully nobody died. Thank you frontier.
Terrible company. Plain and simple.
We pay for 1.0 mps (this is their high speed internet) which is almost nothing. They continue to oversell this area without upgrading their equipment so now it is stretched as thin as can be. To the point that you cant get online half the time, the other half when you do, web pages only load part way and then freeze up. Spoke to repair crew last time they came out because our high speed internet was down to 0.03mps (their speed test results) and tech said they have to constantly steal from others to provide for new accounts.
WTF, Frontier? It's this kind of thinking that is costing you accounts! We just changed to Hughesnet, great service and great speeds but it costs a bit more, still well worth it. CONSTANT calls for repairs to frontier..
Phone line is down at this very moment, spent 2 1/2 hours trying to report through their 'chat' option of reporting, day 2, still no phone and we dont get cell reception here so kinda screwed.
If you have other options, use them. DO NOT USE FRONTIER IF POSSIBLE, it will only bring you a lot of grief.
Reason of review: Bad quality.

WOW, my experience exactly, I knew we were screwed when Verizon sold out. Not that Verizon was wonderful, but their service was light years ahead of frontier.
