For several years, we have not had consistent internet. We call, we are on hold for up to an hour, they issue a ticket, a technician comes out and says it's fixed, and it is not.
It is slow, and we have zero internet at least 25% of working hours. Sometimes for multiple days. Most recently we had a ray of hope - a tech said that we really needed to have FIOS to be able to have decent internet. He submitted a ticket.
We received a date when they were going to install it! We started taking bets on whether it was really going to happen. I was hopeful. They did not show up, and then they told us we couldn't get fiber optic.
We are less than 1000 feet from a subdivision.
We are not in the middle of nowhere. They are charging us $560/month for 4 phone lines (only 3 work, and they are crackly) and "high-speed internet".
User's recommendation: Do all you can to avoid going with Frontier.
Monetary Loss: $1000.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
