Im going through exactly the same p4.. My internet was perfect last year..

Now it goes out every 15 minutes.. For 10 minutes sometimes.. They tell me same thing.. Too many people watching..

Well duh.. Frontier only service in my area.. If course we all use it.. Mine goes on and out every single night around 930..unbelievable..

Im about to scream.. Bad horrible customer service..

I'm in California and have the same problem. Four months ago my monthly charge was $148.

Each month it went higher until it reached $300 and I called to cancel. They promised to lower it to $155 with free HBO for 6 months. The next month HBO was on my bill and my bill was $283 and they were charging me for HBO. Called and complained about that.

Going to call and get Spectrum and have 2 internets until I get all my business's and friends notified of the change. I figure it will take me a month for that including my home camera system. I was with Verizon for 10 years and never made a complaint.

With Frontier I've called at least 10 times already. Worse provider ever.

Just got off the phone with Frontier, the agent told me it was not a fee from Frontier, but from the state of Florida. He stated Florida increased the $1.99 tax I originally had to $3.99.

I think they need to get their story straight. He then put me on hold to see if he could increase my speed since he couldn't do anything about the additional $2.00 increase and NEVER came back on the phone.

I rolled to customer service and she wanted to start back at square one. I think I'm with you about checking out the competition.

When I signed up I was told this is your price for year one, after that it will be this price with no increases. Fast forward to end of year 2 , I receive a bill with $130 increase.

Called Fromtier, chatted to social media rep, contacted the office of the president and all I got was lies upon lies and run around. Canceled my tv service and I get call from Zpresidents office, wanting to know what happened lol.

So the smart business decision they made garnered them a minus 200 per month for being stupid. Biggest SCAM company out there.

They overcharge for what little is provided. They also falsely advertise rates and products/services they don't offer! I was on THEIR website. After inputting my zip code, it said FiOS was in my area, with 4 diff rates. No- there is no fiber optic in my city. Their website also says that they have high-speed internet starting at $20. They REFUSED to give it to me. Said $38 a month was as low as he could go. And that the $20/mn was for only new customers. I told him no where on Their website does it say that. For the second time tonight, after a long hold, they hung up! I was on the phone for 1.5 hrs. :-(

Hello luckinb34, I apologize if there has been any miscommunication about the equipment rental fee. That line item cannot be waived.

We can send a new modem out to you if you like. Ultimately you can of course choose not to use our equipment in favor of your own, but if you do so we will be unable to support that third party equipment. Also, if you do ever have a connection problem, our tech support team will not be able to utilize it's full range of tools to assist you.
