Frontier Communications - Unhappy, sent an estimated bill raising it more than $50.00

I called in and told girl I had problems with my TV box. She said she would send me a new box and control. She e-mailed me a estimated bill raising my monthly bill over $50.00 a month. I asked for no changes. Can't reach the refund department, bill hasn't come yet and calling in has no record. What do I do?

What you do is get away from Frontier as soon as possible and find another company in your area that provides what you want. From the complaints I see, Frontier has unreliable customer service.

They are a joke. When My I-net is down it takes 4-5 days to fix. And it has always been something they did. The actual fix is to fix what one of their employees broke. They call when they start and it takes no more than 1/2 Hr. Even though I have a dry loop dsl connection there is no excuse for this kind of a charge for substandard speeds. No wonder their stock is down.

Frontier Communications in Middleway, West Virginia - 3 weeks no internet no technician

Details
Our internet has been out for more than 3 weeks. When I called in and actually got a human on the phone they say they’re “working on it” that it’s a system outage due to upgrading the system (for 3 weeks!?). We lost internet during a thunderstorm around the house and I can’t get them to come out and replace the box or even send me a new box. It’s obviously fried again.

My connection constantly goes down or freezes. I can never get a hold of customer support either with live chat or phone calls to them. I am so tired of getting no help at all has been down more than up. I am really really disappointed. I do not know why the follow up is such a long wait.

Just got hung up on by supervisor without even talking, said the person you are trying to reach is unavailable after being on hold for a half hour. How do people like that even have a job if they can not even reply to a phone call. WHAT HAPPENED TO QUALITY OF SERVICE...

I am a case worker for the Wyoming County Office for the Aging NY. From April 2019 my client and I have been working on getting approved for Lifeline. It was denied 5 times and finally on 9/6/19 it was approved. Meanwhile my client's phone bill is approximately $55.00 per month. She cannot afford that bill. She has to have a Frontier phone as she has a medialert to use for an emergency. I was told today that the Lifeline cannot be backed up and she has to pay about $86.00. Again she cannot afford this.
