Details
Had Verizon FIOS since day one, 7+ years? No problems that were couldn't be solved with one phone call. Frontier took over and immediately broke something that was perfect. We have the latest tech gadgets and we're not able to use them to their fullest potential. Ethernet connected internet is often slow or just *** wifi is obviously throttled back, Netfilx can't grab wifi and we never seem to get full HD download now. Prior to the sale to Frontier, our 11 wifi devices worked flawlessly and now they can't all connect concurrently. I blame this on Verizon and will not have further dealings with them once I have fulfilled my current contracts with them.

We can assist you here with that, what model router do you have? To get a baseline what speeds are you getting on the wired connection? Have you tried to change the wifi channel on the router to get a better connection?

not enough room here. We kept internet and increased the speed however, they switched the entire service off leaving us with no internet for 5 or more days so far. They admit they made an error and the work order is correct. They cannot fix it.

Frontier Communications in Southlake, Texas - Really Bad Service Processes - Take A Step Back to 1980

I came home from a business trip and my internet was down. Our account was sold from Verizon Fios to Frontier a few months back. This is our second outage in about four months with Frontier. I tried trouble shooting by rebooting the router. It didn't work. So I called them and after about 10 minutes of her not finding my account, she found my account, then spent 20 minutes putting me through the exact trouble shooting I had already done. Then she opened a ticket. After 5 more minutes, she said, "The service technician will be there between 8am and 5pm." I said, "What?" she repeated it. I was shocked. Felt like I was thrown into the 1980s. So I took a WHOLE DAY OFF FROM WORK and guess what? THey never showed!! HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE

If my internet was still down you would be an even worse provider. You should respond within minutes - not a week later.

Frontier Communications in Plano, Texas - No internet service since 06/12 .. 11 days in and counting..Frontier is the Worst of all ISP ever

Had a verizon Fios internet and had no issues. Once it shifted to Frontier the issues started popping up, first of all a spotty internet and a day later complete shutdown. When we talk to Customer service Rep they keep on saying that the issue had impacted many customers and they are working. There is not ETA, so we stay in Limbo for ever until they bless us with their *** service. My area only has on Frontier Fios ISP and it sucks horribly. Been making phone calls daily, not they escalate it nor they fix it. Now they say there is no need of technician to come over as the issue is with the box in my area. For 5 days they spell the same script that its been worked on as we speak and i don't even see a frontier technician or a vehicle in my area. They are Lying to customers. Frontier Corp is going down for sure. Even the word "Sucks" is less of a Verbage to describe the frustration. My wife works from home, i requested/pleased/ begged to get the internet fixed they don't care. If they loose their jobs then they would realize how horrible it would be to loose a job. My wife lives in fear of loosing job anytime as she has to work from home. She took 4 days off from work, in a hope that services will be restored. That didn't happen and now she is working from starbucks. Bottom line : Frontier doesn't give *** about its customer. Services are worst than third world countries. Oh wait!! they still don't give a ***!!

The internet is up and running since 06/25/16. I'm yet to make a call to frontier for the refund. I'm kinda scared on how would that experience be.

Details
After my fios internet service went out, I rebooted the router, changed to an older router, and power-cycle the ONT, all to no avail. So I called Frontier's customer service. The guy was nice enough, but he couldn't do jack. He did manage to cut me off three times, two of which he did call back. In my last communication with him, he said he would have to schedule a service technician to come out. Okay, fine. Then I get a dial tone. He'd cut me off again! So I call back to find out when the tech is coming. June 8th!!! This happened on June 1. What would Frontier do if I paid my bill 8 days late?

FRONTIER COMMUNICATIONS has the WORST WORST SERVICE in the whole USA.I don't know why,They do not care for customers and even though if there is negative feedback.I was earlier using Verizon FIOS and since the day Verizon sold FIOS to Frontier Communications myself and my most my friends having issues.Since 2 days my internet is not working and they do not care,just created one ticket and no update on ticket,whenever call to customer care guys they I do not have any update and cannot tell what is the ETA for this issue.Very very poor service,I requested for disconnection from June 05 2016 on May 24 2016 and from next day my internet not working and when complained them they created ticket but not taking care of my issue.

4 days? Lucky you.

I'm on my seventh in Lewisville! 30+ minute hold on each call.

They dropped me 5 times a few days back. FRONTIER SUCKS!!!!!

Long time Verizon Fios customer 12+ years, Only had one outage in 12+ years, comes Frontier, issues starts from day one, poor internet service, a few days later no service period. It's been 4 days and no resolution. I was told I need a tech dispatch which would be 3 days, no show, now I am told there is no tech dispatch required, as the problem is on their end.Frontier = poor customer service, staff not prepared for the conversion, wait times in excess of 30+ min, get a different answer every time, poor planning, over subscribed backbone... and the list can go on..... IMHO: The Sr. management needs to be shown the door out, after they show the project management office the door out, who planned/coordinated this conversion (if there was any!) Share holders should be afraid.. If your core backbone cannot handle additional traffic, why did you all think it was a great idea to migrate such a large customer base at the same time..... Glad I an not on a contract, looking for alternate provider in the area....

Frontier Communications in Dallas, Texas - FIOS customer - No internet for 2 days now.

No internet for 2 days now, called Frontier support number after going through a long list of listing, dialing and waiting for hours, I was able to talk to Supporter who did not know when outage is fixed. I am working remote and must have wifi. I tried to cancel but I must pay earlier termination fee. Now, I don't have internext access ( Noone when internet is back online) and not able to find other provider (time wanner cable...) Technical Support is not that bad. Except one lady drop my call when I tried to cancel my services.

I'm in garland tx never had an issue with fios until frontier took over. Now my internet is so slow gaming online is been difficult, my dad is 2 rooms away from the antenna and buffering every min of movies on YouTube Call in took 20min to get in hold of Simone after that had to be transfer to fios department and another 30 minutes took to tell me they can't help me so I have to talk to customer service a different number. Worse service ever. I'm paying for 50mbs only gettin a poor 21 on a good day. Help on different onions of providers in garland area.
