Where do I start? First i known by the initial experience this wasn’t going to be pretty. It took me over a month and a half just to get service. Each time I would call, no one could find an order number, my name, address, social, or anything. When they finally found it, no one had a clue of what was going on. They kept asking me to send over a form from my apartments stating I was a new tenant. This form had been sent to me at the start by the frontier sales rep that handles my complex account and emailed back right in front of me by the apartment manager a day or so after receiving it. Still this was the reason I had not yet received service. Fast forward to finally receiving an install date. I was a bit relieved. I was finally going to have internet service after being in my place almost two months. I took off work to be home so I could meet the installer. After the install day had nearly past, I called to see when the installer would actually be there and was told there was NO APPOINTMENT for me on this date. I was livid! First of all the guy I was talking to couldn’t understand me and I couldn’t understand him due to his poor English. I was put on hold and after an hour or so of back and forth, he comes back on the line to tell me (get this) the reason I don’t have an appointment is because there’s a form my apartment manager must sign and email back stating I’m the new tenant! (Laughing angry at this point). I explain and I’m passed to the next person like a football. No apology! Only accusations of what I didn’t do! Next chapter: I don’t know if the next guy was in scheduling or not but he was rather nice and I started to have hope. After explaining the situation for the (I don’t know) how many time, he started to verify everything to see what the issue was. He noticed that my address was incorrect. Something no one had noticed in the many times I had called and the many people I had talked to. He apologized and said he would communicate with scheduling I guess, to see if they could get someone out. He said by it being late in the day, it was very unlikely they could. After another 30 minutes or so, he communicated there was no way to get anyone out because it was so late. I explained in anger that I had taken off work and this WAS NOT acceptable. Nice guy continued to apologize and say there was just no way that day but he would schedule me on the available day in which finally I let him do since there was no win in that day. I get off the phone and I’m exhausted from going back and forth and angry so I take a nap. I wake up about two hours later and see I’ve missed a call and have a voicemail. I check the vm and it’s an installer saying he was at my gate. Mind you it’s quitting time for people so the gate is probably opening every 5 minutes or so. I call him back and he says the same. I tell him I was told there was NO WAY anyone could come that day and if it was possible he could come back. He said he would try and I never heard back. Moving to the next day! No one has contacted me so I call again. This time I’m met with “I missed my appointment” wth?!!! How do you miss an appointment you never had?! I go to my apartment office pissed and explain. They call the apartment sales rep who calls me later in the day apologizing telling me someone would be there next day. Guess what...... they showed up and I got internet.... YAY!!!! NOT SO FAST! fast forward to this week. Keep in mind, I have received NO correspondence at all from frontier since the install guy. I still have no account number, pin, *** I didn’t know I had a frontier email address til I called this day. Again trouble finding my account. I’m calling because services have been disconnected. I want to see the charges and why I have not received a bill, a call, email, etc. Not only do I find out I have a email address, I also find out my address is STILL incorrect AND I have a installation charge on my balance! Waaaaaaa?!!!! Are you serious! I dispute this in disgust. I explain the entire book I just typed above to the young lady and ask because of the situation. Because of THEIR mistakes, is there anyone I could talk to make payment arrangements because there was no way I could pay that amount minus the install that day. She told me I would have to speak to collections and transferred me there. On hold again...... time to think I should’ve gotten my account number from her but this a company and I’m inside now so I’m pretty sure she’ll pass the info to collections or I owe them money, surely they can find me. NOT! 15 minutes in collections agent transfers me back to customer service to get my account number. All I can saw is WOW! I was on the this day over 4 hours with them. I did 3 loads of clothes and drove to my car dealership and back no joke. In this time i talked to a guy in collections finally that looked over my account and told me the only way to get my service restored was to talk to customer service and dispute the past due amount with the installation charge... so transferred back to customer service. At this point I feel I’m being plunked and Ashton would jump out at any moment and I’d have internet again. Anyway, I talked to a guy name Tyler. Tyler seemed nice at first. He heard me out and said after a while he would credit the install 75$ and and get my services back on no problem. Tyler would strangly go silent for long periods to where I would have to say “hello” and then he’d reappear. I was on the phone with him the majority of the time. He kept asking me to explain what I felt I had explained to the entire company at this point. After some time Tyler come back and said what he could do is credit me 50$ which would be reflected on my next bill. He said nothing about the dispute request i called about. I asked why the credit dropped and he said because I missed the appointment. Very angry I asked had he not heard what I told him during my 30th rendition of the story? It was like he was trying to find reason not to believe me or satisfy my needs. I then asked him for a supervisor and he told me they would tell me the same thing. Waaaaaaa?! Is this how frontier communications do customer service?! Wow. I told him I needed to speak to a manager again and he told me right away the managers are busy and he would have one call me back. Then he went back to that strange silence before I said “hello” again. We entually ended the call with me expecting a call back. Later that evening I hadn’t received a call, so I called to see if he had noted for a manager to call me back. He had but no one had called back. I asked how long does a callback take and I was told maybe 2-4 hours. I waited I went to work, got off and still no callback. I get home and find out I have limited service. I have internet but can’t download and I’m connect to a IP address outside of my state. Weird! Still no callback no voicemail. No nothing. I call again to get explanation of no callback. The young lady disregards my request to speak to a Manager and proceeds to try and help saying “aww you just need the other 25$ credit? I can take care of that”. When she’s done, I again ask for a supervisor to discuss payment arrangements. I get put on hold and she comes back with the explanation from her supervisor that my service has been restored but with limitations. I’m dumbfounded I cannot speak to a manager. I take it in stride and hang up. I return home after work the very next day and it’s disconnected again. If these guys had dial up competition,I would choose dial up. Customer service is the worst I’ve EVER experienced even worst than fast food. I spent hours on the phone and no one at that company even considers that. This long vent will hopefully help someone avoid my experience by choosing another provider. I still have not heard from anyone!

I still can NOT believe how sloppy this company is!!!! I have been having NOTHING but problems trying to even get an install since October 14 with people on the front end dropping the ball left and right. I went through this same drill with you guys again this week after having the ball dropped by someone not doing a verification. Get that done and had to go with an account manager to get my install date set up again for today. Low and behold, the tech calls me and says he's en route and that he isn't doing a full install because......I was set up as a self install!!!!! Nobody and I mean nobody told me this when it was set up again!!!!! To add insult to injury, I called and found that my self install equipment was never even shipped out!!!!! It literally got shipped out only because I said something. I am extremely pissed with this company because you have done absolutely nothing right from the get go BUT you're holding on to my deposit like I'm supposed to be cool with that. The little $25 credit to my account can't even begin to compensate for all of this unnecessary aggravation that you all have put me through. All I wanted was to have some internet service and y'all are making it way harder than it has to be. I should've gone with my first mind and just spent the money with AT&T or Suddenlink and been done with it. I swear that with my experience with you guys, I will make sure I tell EVERYONE in our area to stay away from you because you've failed me not once, not twice, but three times as a brand new customer and I refuse to put my personal reputation on the line to defend this poor decision on my part to my family, friends, and neighbors. FYI the tech called me at 10:06 letting me know he was 5-10 minutes away and as of 11:16 he is nowhere to be found. Guess he got lost or his GPS doesn't work correctly. He finally arrived after 12:15pm Unbelievable!!!

Frontier Communications in Irving, Texas - Worst customer service

You guys have the worst customer service ever. The agent who signed me up was given to me by the community and was told that there would be no installation charges.I was charged for installation charges when i signed up for free installation. After that I have 4 times before every months payment. There is no record of my calls to you guys each month. Every time i can I have to start all over again. I was told that the charges have been submitted for review. and it has taken almost 4 months for review.

Frontier Communications in Justin, Texas - Failure of a company

We had heard bad things, so were worried to start. We have had an appointment to install in Justin TX, where the window for the technician was from 8 to 5, low and behold they never showed up. We called and were put on hold indefinitely. I also have a feeling that when we try and cancel our service to switch to a more competent company that they will try and charge us a cancellation fee, seeing as we were originally with verizon and were swindled into sticking with frontier. Once of the worst companies i have ever seen. Just completely horrible service and the customer service is down right rude. I hate them with a fiery passion.

You guys are spot on with your comments. Here in the Tampa area, the exact same thing happened to me.

Tech never showed OR gave me a courtesy call to say when he COULD show up. I cancelled the service immediately, before the service even commenced. Red flag...

I am have service with Spectrum (which also has their issues) however, they DO show up when scheduled. I wish their were more alternatives.
