When our service was put in 5 years ago, the outside wires were burried next to a cattle fence.After the fence was struck by lightning, it destroyed the wire.
Since then we have had a 1500 ft temporary wire hanging off of out T-posts that support our fence. It has lost us service many times and since it is only temporaty wire, it does not support the speed internet we pay for. After calling MANY times, we are told that repairs will be done, but still waiting.....
And....trying to get a hold of reps is almost imposible unless you have a day off.If they did not have a legitimat monopoly in our area, we would have never stayed with them.
